RUI CUNHA VIANA

1954 - Lisbon, Portugal.

EDUCATION AND ARTISTIC PATH:
- Rui Cunha Viana is a contemporary Portuguese painter;
- Based in Lisbon, he works from his studio in Lisbon and exhibits his artworks regularly;
- Fine Arts studies in Montreal, Canada, and in Lisbon,
after moving to Portugal following the revolution in 1974;
- Became an English teacher;
- Worked as an illustrator for political left wing publications;
- Co-founder of Associação Expresso Oriente, a founding member of “ MONSTRA- Lisbon Animation Film Festival”.
